While keeping the heart of the original series, this collection introduces modern enhancements that make it easier than ever to jump in. For both longtime fans and first-time players, it offers a fresh way to rediscover the world, characters, and gameplay that defined the series. Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is available now on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam for $39.99, with physical editions available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 only.

Enter the Wave World:
Set in a future shaped by advanced technology, Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection follows Geo Stelar who merges with the extraterrestrial Omega-Xis to transform into Mega Man. Together, they take on a series of otherworldly battles that blur the line between the real world and the digital Wave World.

On a 3×5 grid, combat blends real-time movement with card-based attacks, challenging players to master positioning, timing, and deck-building in fast-paced tactical battles. However, outside of battle, players move between everyday life and the Wave World, where exploration and story progression come together in a seamless adventure.

Enhanced for Modern Play:
This collection introduces a variety of upgrades that enhance the experience while also opening up fresh ways to play:

  • Visual Options – Toggle between enhanced high-resolution visuals or the original look for a more classic feel.
  • Flexible Difficulty and Assist Settings – Customize combat by adjusting the Mega Buster attack power or changing enemy encounter rates to suit your preferred playstyle.
  • Expanded Card Library – Access rare bonus cards previously obtainable only through events or merchandise and combine them with cards earned during gameplay to build even more powerful decks. (Note: Some bonus cards are not included)
  • Gallery and Music Player – Explore a robust archive of over 1,000 pieces of official artwork, including rare concept illustrations and enjoy BGM from all three titles plus newly arranged tracks that can also be set as in-game background.
  • Online Play Enhancements – Jump into Casual or Ranked matches, trade cards globally, and connect with friends across multiple titles. The Brother Band system also returns with a major update, now allowing players to add up to 100 players to their brother list. Select up to “6 brothers” to boost Mega Man’s abilities and strengthen bonds.

Connectivity features that originally utilized the Nintendo DS system’s dual-slot functionality have been recreated for modern platforms. Special events that were unlocked by linking specific titles are also fully implemented, allowing players to enjoy them once again in this collection.
