Abyssus, the roguelike 1-4 player co-op FPS with thousands of “Very Positive” reviews on Steam, today revealed that the brinepunk action will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S this summer in its console debut. These brand-new versions of the undersea action will be launched alongside the new free 1.3 update. This update will expand the underwater civilizations that become your fighting ground in Abyssus with a brand new God, areas, blessings, crossplay and more. Today’s news was accompanied by a brand-new trailer from developer DoubleMoose and publisher The Arcade Crew showcasing a taste of the nonstop action:

Also revealed today was the news that Brinehunters who want the full Abyssus experience can pre-order a brand-new PlayStation 5 physical edition coming this summer. This physical edition includes all currently available cosmetic DLCs in Abyssus. The new 1.3 update will be launching alongside the new PlayStation and Xbox versions of Abyssus and will be expanding your undersea adventure… and arsenal, with a host of new content at absolutely no cost:

  • A new God will be joining the lineup, introducing a host of new blessings for your abilities and weapons
  • New blessings will be added for the previously existing Gods, too
  • A new playable area arrives, introducing new enemies and bosses alongside it
  • New room objectives will be added to make sure that no two runs are ever the same
  • A revamped and expanded skill tree & streamlined matchmaking and quickplay options
  • Crossplay will be available at launch across all platforms
  • New sea shanties, the best way to build team camaraderie
