Folklore Hunter, the co-op urban legend hunting survival game developed by Liquid Donkey Games, takes aim at the Mothman when it graduates from Steam Early Access on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, as revealed at DreadXP’s Indie Horror Showcase today with a brand new trailer.
Liquid Donkey Games has also revealed a new update available today, with full Steam Workshop support now implemented for the community to create and share their own custom content and mods. Versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch platforms are also in development, set to launch later in 2026.
When a father goes missing under mysterious circumstances looking for his kids, a village finds itself cursed by creatures of the night, or strange things are afoot at abandoned military biolabs, they call you. First revealed in early 2024, the Paranormal Activity game has released its first gameplay teaser today. Published by indie horror experts, DreadXP, in partnership with Paramount Pictures, the Paranormal Activity film franchise is being brought to life by Brian Clarke of DarkStone Digital. Clarke is best known as the creator of the highly acclaimed indie horror success The Mortuary Assistant, also published by DreadXP. His upcoming game aims to deliver a uniquely chilling experience, faithful to the franchise’s legacy of found footage fear.
Brian Clarke’s The Mortuary Assistant was a breakout horror phenomenon upon its release in 2022, amassing millions of plays and a dedicated fanbase for its unnerving atmosphere and innovative scares. Clarke brings his signature approach to fear and immersion with the Paranormal Activity game, promising to expand on the franchise’s infamous found footage style horror in new and nightmarish ways.
The Paranormal Activity film franchise has terrified audiences worldwide since the release of the original film in 2007, spawning multiple sequels and cementing its status as a mainstay of modern horror. This new game adaptation will allow fans to experience the franchise’s trademark supernatural terror first-hand, with immersive gameplay that is sure to keep them wondering what happens next.

Today, during DreadXP’s Indie Horror Showcase, indie developer Digital Dreams Entertainment released a new trailer for its over-the-top “NFL Blitz Meets Evil Dead” mashup Mutant Football League 2, which launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on December 10, 2025.
This is not your parents’ football game or a bloated simulation that chases realism at the expense of fun. Mutant Football League 2 is a brutal, darkly comedic 8-on-8 arcade-style action-packed football game. Teams of Mutated Super-Humans, Monstrous Orcs, Skeletal Deadheads, and Armored BruiserBots are pit against each other in fantastical arenas packed with deadly traps and sinister hazards like buzzsaws and giant mutant worms.

Today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available on Nintendo Switch™ 2 on December 2, 2025. Optimized for all play modes, the Nintendo Switch 2 version will let players enjoy the game seamlessly at home or on the go. It will also include touch screen support, making navigation of menus, maps and the hideout more intuitive than ever.
At launch, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will include all content updates introduced since the game’s release, with only the ‘Claws of Awaji’ expansion arriving early next year.

Today, CCP Games unveiled EVE Online: Catalyst, the next expansion for the iconic sci-fi MMO, EVE Online. With Catalyst, mining becomes a spark for new conflicts, collaborations, and ambitions. Launching on November 18, 2025, the expansion introduces additional mining vessels, the Prismaticite ore, a highly anticipated 2D star system mvap, and more.
“Mining is the foundation of all activity in EVE, and with Catalyst, it becomes the forefront of power,” said Bergur Finnbogason, EVE Online’s Creative Director. “We’re reenergizing the mining experience, making it far more dynamic, social, and rewarding. A failed experiment on the enigmatic Drifter Gates has destabilized spacetime, causing Hyperspace Fractures to appear across New Eden. These short-lived anomalies reveal Phased Asteroids rich in a volatile new resource, Prismaticite, an erratic ore that reprocesses into random minerals in unpredictable quantities. Outer Ring Excavations (ORE) engineers have unveiled Phase Anchor technology, a deployable system that stabilizes fractured asteroids for coordinated mining.
