A new video message from the developers was released this week for Netmarble’s upcoming action-adventure RPG – Game of Thrones: Kingsroad.
Within the video, developers offer players a sneak peek at never-before-seen Chapter 3 content which will be available at launch – including the Stormlands, ruled by Stannis Baratheon. Chapter 3 will expand upon the story currently available in Early Access. The developers also address player feedback from Early Access and discuss Matchmaking, RP and additional languages coming to the game.
In Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, players will experience a brand-new story as they take on the role of a new character, who, through a quirk of fate, becomes the heir to House Tyre, a small noble house in the North. The game takes place during season four of the Emmy® Award-winning and Golden Globe®-winning Game of Thrones series. In addition to customizing their character with a robust character creator, players will be able to select from one of three classes inspired by iconic roles within the original series – Sellsword, Knight or Assassin – as they take their first steps into the world of Westeros.

Archives Evolved
Dead by Daylight’s Archives have been around since 2019, offering players countless opportunities to challenge themselves while unlocking rewards, Outfits, and lore in the process. Accompanying the release of Steady Pulse, The Archives will undergo an overhaul, creating a better, more streamlined experience for those seeking more.
Moving forward, The Archives will be referred to as The Rift, and the Challenges within will be called Quests. Unlike Challenges, players will no longer have to select Quests before jumping into a Trial, with all Quest types (Daily, Weekly, Milestone, and Event) being active at the same time, making it faster and easier to earn rewards and power through The Rift. Players will even have the chance to “pin” specific Quests allowing them to be tracked mid-Trial with a simple click of the pause button.
Dead by Daylight: Steady Pulse is currently available as part of the Steam public test build. It releases officially on May 6.

Storm King Comics, the award-winning graphic novel publisher founded by film producer Sandy King, will headline Midsummer Scream’s 2025 “Horror Comic Books” theme when the world’s largest Halloween and horror convention returns to the Long Beach Convention Center from August 15-17, 2025.
Highlighting Storm King’s major presence, legendary director, composer, and Storm King collaborator John Carpenter (Halloween, They Live, The Thing, Escape from New York) will make a highly anticipated appearance. Carpenter will be in attendance on Saturday, August 16th only, signing autographs for fans. Each autograph fee will include a copy of John Carpenter Presents George A. Today, publisher Deep Silver and developer Warhorse Studios have officially added Hardcore Mode to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, giving players a brutal new way to experience the land of medieval Bohemia.
Hardcore Mode turns Kingdom Come: Deliverance II into a true test of survival. Henry’s location is no longer permanently shown on the map, there is no compass to guide you, and fast travel is disabled, forcing you to navigate the world entirely on your own. Raising the stakes further, players need to select at least three permanent negative traits at the start of the game, such as Bad Back, meaning you can carry less weight; Somnambulant, which means sleepwalking and waking up in random places; or Hangry Henry, who is even more obsessed with food than usual.
This is an evolution of a mode that existed in the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance designed to create a new level of immersion in the game.
Karel Kolmann, senior game designer at Warhorse Studios, explained that they wanted the Hardcore Mode to be as good as it was in the first game, but not a carbon copy.
“We only kept a couple of the first game’s perks, and then we made new ones to provide a completely new challenge,” he said. “It’s not just about making the game harder either, it’s about making it more immersive too.
“In the first game’s Hardcore Mode, we did things like disabling your map position and removing the compass, but we’ve gone further this time. We’ve added the option to ask different NPCs about your location in the world, which is something more immersive. You can run into travellers on the road and ask for directions,” he added.
