Through this letter, the Milan-based studio wished to inform fans about the project’s progress. The studio has worked on improving its concept and proposal to satisfy fans of the license, in terms of design, combat, story, and atmosphere. Strengthened by this reflection, a new course has been set, as Marco Ponte explains:
« To give you an authentic “Terminator” experience and the best possible shooter and exploration gameplay, we have to put aside the cooperative multiplayer. We know this may come as a disappointment, but we believe it is the right creative direction for an uncompromising vision of the world after Judgment Day ».
NACON Studio Milan has also made the decision to offer players a premium experience, without early access. Following these changes, the release date of Terminator: Survivors is postponed, and more information will be communicated at a later time.
While waiting for the game’s release and to allow players to share their feedback with the studio, closed playtests will be organized during 2026. Go here to register.
