AdHoc Studio’s debut title, Dispatch, has surpassed one million copies sold on Steam and PlayStation Store, only ten days after its release. Episodes 5 and 6 are available now, setting the stage for the season finale releasing on November 12th.

The game currently has a 9.3 User Score on Metacritic, 93% positive reviews on Steam from over 19,000 reviews, and a record 4.95 out of 5 review score on PS Store. This places the game among the highest rated titles by player score of 2025.

“It’s always a little strange when the numbers get so big you have to talk about them,” says Michael Choung, Executive Producer and CEO at AdHoc Studio. “A week ago, we were just as thrilled watching Let’s Plays and reaction videos. But milestones like this matter. They mean AdHoc will be able to make more story-driven episodic originals, and we hope it means it’ll be easier for other devs to do the same. Hard to believe we’re only halfway done.”

Created by former writers and directors of Telltale Games, Dispatch is a superhero workplace comedy that puts players in the boots of Robert Robertson, better known as Mecha Man. After his mech-suit was destroyed in a battle, the former superhero is now in charge of a rehabilitation program for ex-supervillains and must manage a dysfunctional team of misfit heroes. Robert’s task is to dispatch this chaotic crew on missions, navigate their quirks, flaws, and personal baggage, all while trying to repair his suit and avenge his nemesis.

Dispatch is available on PC via Steam and on PlayStation 5. Players can purchase the game now, join the official Discord, and follow AdHoc Studio on Bluesky, X, and Instagram for the latest updates.
