Halloween is almost here and today Pokémon GO is excited to share how Trainers can celebrate the spooky season.

Pokémon GO will be hosting a two-part seasonal event running from October 21 to November 2. The event will feature new opportunities to get costumed Pokémon and Candy, as well as the debut of Poltchageist and Sinistcha in Pokémon GO.

  • Part 1 (October 21 through October 27):

    • The debut of Poltchageist and Sinistcha, as well as the first chance at Shiny Sinistea

    • Event-themed Pokémon in the wild, including Sinistea, Zorua, Hisuian Zorua, Greavard, and more.

    • Additionally, in a new GO Pass, Trainers can collect GO Points to increase their rank, and unlock rewards such as Stardust, XP, Poké Balls, Candy, and an encounter with the fan-favorite Rotom.

      • Additionally, purchasers of the DO Pass Deluxe gain an event-themed teatime post

  • Part 2 (October 27 through November 2):

    • Costumed Pokémon in the wild, including Teddiursa wearing a witch hat, Noibat wearing a headband, and more.

    • An increased chance of encountering Shiny Teddiursa and Shiny Noibat.

    • Opportunities to complete Field Research and get rewarded with additional costumed Pokémon, including Pikachu, Froakie and Rowlet.

    • Raids featuring Sinistea and Poltchageist, as well as costumed Pikachu, Piplup, Gengar and Drifblim.

    • On October 31, Trainers will have a chance to receive Rare Candy or Rare Candy XL when catching costumed Pokémon with Nice Throws or better.
