Wargaming, the developer and publisher of the leading historically accurate naval multiplayer game World of Warships, is continuing its 10th anniversary celebrations with a special 10-hour-long livestream, brimming with bonuses, special Twitch Drops, and interactive activities for fans around the world. To mark the occasion, players will also be able to take home three unique collaboration releases, created in collaboration with renowned partners. Included in this line-up is a specially designed pair of aviator sunglasses in partnership with the iconic Randolph Engineering, a graphic novel based on Yamato in collaboration with MOZUMA, and a Kraken plush created by Makeship to ring out the anniversary in style.

10 Hours for 10 Years of World of Warships

On Thursday, September 18, World of Warships is set to go live with a 10-hour-long stream to commemorate ten years of action-packed naval combat, spanning over 1.2 billion hours of play time and more than 947 million battles. Beginning at 11:00 AM UTC, fans around the world can tune into the stream, hosted on the World of Warships Twitch channel, and join in on plenty of activities, including gameplay and live quizzes. Players who dive into these activities have the chance to win a host of in-game prizes, headlined by British special Premium Tier VII cruiser Belfast and American special Premium Tier VIII aircraft carrier Enterprise.

Throughout the stream, the community will have the opportunity to vote, altering the course of the stream in real-time, and can unlock a massive bounty of rewards, with special Twitch Drops and bonus codes planned across the duration of the event.

Take World of Warships home with three limited-edition collaborations

Also marking the 10th anniversary, World of Warships has partnered with multiple brands around the world to create exclusive collectable drops for its community. Working with iconic eyewear brand Randolph Engineering, trusted by the U.S. military and beloved by pilots and celebrities alike, World of Warships is set to come to life with a limited run of themed aviator sunglasses. Featuring polarized Atlantic Blue nylon lenses, a rugged Tungsten Cerakote finish, and bayonet temples detailed with the World of Warships logo, each pair is handcrafted at Randolph’s Massachusetts workshop as a durable, corrosion-resistant tribute to the game and its players. Only 150 pairs of the WoWS x Randolph Aviators will be available for purchase on the official Randolph website starting September 18. An exclusive $40 USD discount code will be available on the Captain’s Club as a special gift for players. Each aviator comes with a World of Warships bonus code, making this release a true collector’s piece for players and fans alike.

In addition, World of Warships is partnering with the transmedia company MOZUMA on a Kickstarter campaign to deliver the historically inspired graphic novel “Yamato: The Final Letters”. Across 60 pages, the novel delves into the story behind the sailors who served aboard Japanese battleship Yamato – the largest constructed ship of her kind. The copy can be reserved via the official Kickstarter campaign, with several tiers offering extra rewards such as digital editions, premium collector’s sets, and the exclusive Admiral Collection version.

The range of 10th anniversary memorabilia concludes with a team-up from the crowdfunding platform Makeship, who have worked alongside World of Warships to bring a 10th Anniversary Kraken Plushie to life. Beginning on September 12, fans can pre-order the limited-edition collectible, which takes the guise of the infamous sea creature, and comes bundled with a free week of World of Warships Premium Account access. Equipped with a Velcro panel on its helmet, fans can customise their friendly sea-faring friend to their liking, as it fits neatly within their gaming setup or home space.

Finally, the festivities are already underway in-game for World of Warships, as the 10th anniversary update is now live, bringing free ships, gifts, events, and even more to thank players for their support over the past decade. A limited-time Decade Dock Port is also available, offering an insight into the game’s history, filled with Easter Eggs for long-time fans and newcomers to enjoy.
