The first screams of the season have already begun as EPIC Entertainment Group, an award-winning producer of themed entertainment, kicks off its multi-month casting call to bring Hersheypark Dark Nights to life. The entertainment masterminds return for their fourth consecutive year as part of a multi-year partnership. EPIC manages Costume, Make Up, Stage Management, Technical and Talent departments, spearheading in-person and virtual auditions and casting for hundreds of scare actors, specialty performers, make-up artists and wardrobe specialists.
“This event just keeps getting bigger and better every year,” said Steve Sheldon, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of EPIC Entertainment Group. “We’re thrilled to return to Hersheypark and lead the charge on building a spectacular cast of characters who will haunt guests’ dreams long after they leave the park.”
Open call auditions began on June 27 and will continue through the summer, wrapping on September 5. EPIC is hosting both in-person and virtual casting opportunities, with stops in Hershey, Washington D.C., New York City, and Lancaster, PA. The remaining open casting call dates are:
- July 25 – Hershey | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
- July 26 – Lancaster | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
- August 8 – Hershey | 5:00–9:00 PM
- August 9 – Hershey | Noon–5:00 PM
- August 10 – Hershey | Noon–5:00 PM

Dark Nights will return to Hersheypark for its fourth and most terrifying season yet on Friday, September 12, 2025.
