Indie game developer Spilt Milk Studios is proud to announce that their third content update, “Deep Clean”, is now available for their ‘Very Positive’ rated wholesome shopkeeping game Trash Goblin, currently on PC via Steam Early Access. Upgrade your tools including the sponge and soak tub to scrub and tidy your way in this update for the cosy shop simulator!

“Deep Clean”, the third major content update since Trash Goblin launched in Early Access, focuses on revitalising and fine-tuning tools to make cleaning easier and faster. Essential to any crafty goblin, the Chisel can now be upgraded twice to make it even more powerful. Different Chisels have different abilities, like the “Lance” which can punch through multiple blocks in one direction, or the “Cross” which deals a hefty spread of damage to a targeted block. Upgrades also come to the Sponge and Soak Tub, helping the pace of cleaning and allowing room for more dirty trinkets.

Alongside the item upgrades, the patch also introduces a new Quest Tracker, making it easier to keep track of customer requests by displaying their name, order, and the condition of the trinket – clean or dirty. Customers of different species now all have their own distinct voice burble, and cleaning time is now relative to the size of a trinket, so smaller trinkets take less effort to clean than larger ones. The “Deep Clean” update brings upwards of 51 additions, changes, tweaks, bug fixes and a good ol’ spring clean to Trash Goblin today!

In other exciting news, Trash Goblin has been announced as a finalist at the GDWC Winter Season for Best Studio Game with the awards due to be unveiled on March 14th.
