FuzzyBot and Dreamhaven today announced Lynked: Banner of the Spark’s big winter update is coming in early 2025. The arcade-inspired co-op action game will add the following cold-weather content and freezing features next year:
- A dynamic weather system that will bring unique allies, enemies, and visuals.
- New combat areas, including day/night differences and mission remixes, effectively doubling the playable areas.
- A fifth elemental attack to further diversify the game’s roguelite combat.
- A limited-time event featuring a new character and festive-themed weapons, missions, and exclusive rewards.
- The ability to start snowball fights with town residents for fun interactions.
- Improvements to the co-op system, starting with a ping system to highlight specific items.
- New character customization options to help players make the experience their own.
- Quality-of-life improvements, such as filtering specific weapons and mods out of the rotation during mission runs.
- And more!
Players who can’t wait for these wintry wonders can log in between December 19, 2024, and January 6, 2025, to receive a special holiday-themed weapon—the Candy Payne Basher!
