Expansive Worlds, a creative division within Avalanche Studios Group, has released three new premium DLC packs for the immersive open-world hunting game theHunter: Call of the Wild today on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store. The “Salzwiesen Park,” “German Shorthaired Pointer,” and “Hunters’ Choice: Bolt-Action Rifle Pack” DLCs are available for purchase individually, but players can grab all three new packs together at a discount with the “Winter Hunting Bundle,” available only until Jan. 31, 2025, for $15.99 (save 11%).
A free update is also available today, introducing two new “Great Ones” (the Pheasant and Red Fox) and a new dog skill customization feature that allows dog owners to combine the skills of two companions into one. The update also adds “Hunter Challenges”–daily and weekly goals that players can complete to earn in-game currency–and brings back photo challenges!
Salzwiesen Park

For example, combine the skills of a Pointer and Retriever to train your dog to flush out birds and retrieve them after you’ve taken your shot. (Players must own a given dog breed to use its specific abilities.)

Hunters’ Choice: Bolt-Action Rifle Pack
