Today, on International Cat Day, publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer BlueTwelve Studio announced that the critically acclaimed award-winning cat adventure game Stray will release on Nintendo Switch on November 19.
In Stray, players take the role of a stray cat who must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity amidst the detailed neon-lit alleys and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly. Along the way, the cat befriends a small flying drone, known only as B-12. With the help of this newfound companion, the duo must find a way out.
Stray is an award-winning game, including Best Independent Game and Best Debut Indie Game at The Game Awards, PlayStation Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards, Best Debut at the Game Developers Choice Awards and Most Innovative Gameplay at the Steam Awards, as well as more than 20 nominations that include EE Game of the Year, Best Game and Debut Game at the BAFTA Awards and Game of the Year at the D.I.C.E. Awards.
