Global publisher and distributor SelectaPlay is excited to confirm that the eagerly awaited physical boxed Blasphemous 2 Collector’s Edition, will be releasing for Xbox consoles in early 2024. Developed by The Game Kitchen and published by Team17, Blasphemous 2 is a brutal side-scrolling Metroidvania action platformer and was originally released in the summer of 2023 to critical acclaim. The physical Collector’s Edition will also launch for Nintendo Switch™ and PlayStation®5.
SelectaPlay is responsible for the design and creation as well as the European and North American publishing and distribution of the boxed Collector’s Edition of Blasphemous 2 and has collaborated both with The Game Kitchen and Team 17 to create an incredible physical version for fans to collect.
As well as the full version of Blasphemous 2 on console, the Collector’s Edition will include a Steelbook case with exclusive artwork, a printed instruction manual created by the developers along with a thank you letter from the Game Kitchen team, a Marca del Martitio metal coin, three art cards with new illustrations, two CD’s of music composed by Carlos Viola along with a collector’s CD cover with code to download the digital soundtrack, a printed game guide with over 60 pages of Blasphemous lore, a beautiful album of illustrations and a certificate of authenticity all housed in a specially created premium finish collector’s box.
