‘The Grinch: Christmas Adventures’ is the first video game released in over 16 years, based on the classic children’s book How The Grinch Stole Christmas! from the legendary creator Dr. Seuss. Today Outright Games have released a brand new gameplay trailer for the upcoming title that shows off the vibrant and colorful visuals found in the game, authentically recreated from the original illustrations in the book.

The trailer showcases not only the green grouch and his faithful dog Max in action, but the energetic 2D platforming gameplay and wonderfully festive power-ups such as the lasso candy-cane and enemy freezing snowballs.
The Grinch: Christmas Adventures has been designed with families in mind, with accessibility features for the youngest of gamers, as well as an asymmetric co-op mode where the second player takes control of the Grinch’s canine companion, Max.
