1C Entertainment and Lapovich Team have today unveiled the release date for Kapital: Sparks of Revolution – the sandbox economic simulation game about class struggle. Get ready to guide a fledgling city through its turbulent period of growth, balancing the needs of the economic classes with the limited resources at their disposal, when the game lands on April 28, 2022 for PC.
Players take control of a ruined city after a conflict and must pull it up from the ashes to flourish again, but this means tough decisions have to be made. Passing laws, building infrastructure, imposing taxation, and gathering resources are just a few of the concerns a leader has to face, all of which will impact the people and their happiness.
Social unrest may arrive as a result of decisions made in the city, and it’s up to the player to ensure the happiness of the people through entertainment, resource distribution, housing, medicine, and policing if tensions spill into the streets. Not everyone can be pleased at all times, and when radicals gather outside the palace, things can get ugly.
Kapital: Sparks of Revolution will be available on April 28 via Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and other digital platforms. Priced at 24.99 USD / 24.99 EUR / 19.99 GBP, a 15% launch discount will be available during the first week.
