April 16, 2020 – Paradox Interactive and Triumph Studios today announced Invasions, the latest expansion for Age of Wonders: Planetfall that will launch on May 26th for PC, PS4, and XBox One. Invasions adds a load of new features to the game, the most exciting of which is the first all new playable faction introduced into the mix, the Shakarn. A race of brutal lizardmen conquerors who are also masters of deception. There are brand new campaign missions to accompany this new race focusing on their invasion of the galaxy.
This expansion also includes new gameplay features like the Voidbringer Invasions, World Events, a new game mode, and a new NPC faction, the Therians, who are warriors that have fused their DNA with animals to become even more ferocious fighters!
