Oxnard, CA – December 30, 2013 – NYNE, an innovator of lifestyle-inspired audio products, will introduce the first fully waterproof, floating, Bluetooth 4.0 portable speaker at CES 2014: Aqua. The Aqua is IPX7 tested, featuring 100 percent waterproof protection for music enjoyment in the shower, by the pool, playing at the beach, or riding a snowmobile. No matter what outdoor adventure you choose, Aqua allows you to truly jam out with no worries. Aqua will be shown at 2014 International CES in the NYNE booth, Central Hall #11626.
“Aqua answers the need for a portable, high-quality audio speaker that can play music outdoors and withstand the elements,” said Arman Arami, president of NYNE. “With up to 10 hours of playtime, the party can last all day at the beach, pool, lake, campsite, or backyard, even when an unexpected rainstorm hits. Aqua plays music from any Bluetooth-enabled device within a 33-foot range, without a wired or dock connection, so your phone or tablet can stay easily accessible and dry.”
IPX7 approved, Aqua can be fully submersed in one meter of water for 30 minutes, so whether you knock it off the boat, or float it next to you in the pool, Aqua still pumps out the tunes. Additionally, Aqua is shock resistant to protect it from drops and everyday abuse. Its detachable waterproof silicon band allows for convenient carrying or hanging.
The NYNE Aqua also features a built-in waterproof microphone to answer incoming calls, listen to voicemails and hear text notifications. It has a 2200mAh Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery and a 3.5mm auxiliary input for an optional wired connection or non-Bluetooth devices.
Aqua is packed with close to 10 watts of power and equipped with an EQ button that delivers four preset equalizer settings. The speaker measures approximately 9.5″ wide by 5.2″ tall by 1.6″ deep.
