2K Sports has announced that its upcoming NBA 2K12 will feature fifteen historic NBA teams and their best players. Some of the players to be included are Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Julius “Dr. J” Erving.
“The NBA 2K franchise has become an essential part of the NBA culture, and our fans can now take control of legendary teams and athletes from the NBA’s rich history,” said Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports. “With ‘NBA’s Greatest’ mode, NBA 2K12 will allow fans to prove once and for all who are the greatest basketball icons of all time.”
NBA 2K12 is due out on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft , PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, Wii system, PSP (PlayStation Portable) system and Windows PC platforms come October 4, 2011.
