You may have seen those big Redbox DVD rental machines at your local outdoor mall or grocery store. Well, beginning this Friday, those machines will also begin renting video games. Redbox machines will rent out games for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii platforms for a price of $2 dollars a day.
Video game titles available to rent this Friday include:
- Brink (PS3, X360)
- Call of Duty: Black Ops (PS3, X360, Wii)
- Duke Nukem Forever (PS3, X360)
- Family Party: 90 Great Games (Wii)
- Infamous 2 (PS3)
- Just Dance 2 (Wii)
- LA Noire (PS3)
- Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game (X360, Wii)
- Michael Jackson: The Experience (Wii)
- Red Faction: Armageddon (PS3, X360)
- Rio (Wii)
- Transformers: Dark of the Moon (PS3, X360, Wii)
- You Don’t Know Jack (X360)
Whoot! You guys get to experience the one stop thrill of movie and a game in the little Red Box. I think there was litigation issues involved with rentals which caused the delay in California getting this combo before. One benefit/disturbing thought about Nevada, they don’t like to make much illegal, we’ve been able to get video games from Red Box, alcohol, gambling, prostitution, guns and just about anything else old westy the whole time.
