The Surge Combat Trailer Released

April 20, 2017 – Deck13’s upcoming hardcore Action-RPG The Surge comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 16, 2017. Today’s Combat Trailer challenges you to survive the deadly CREO facility, making use of The Surge’s fast, technical combat system.

As showcased in the Target, Loot & Equip Trailer, make use of vertical and horizontal attacks, as well as strike power, to target and dismember specific limbs, so you can loot what you cut. Looting upgrades for your exo-suit is key to progression, and surviving challenging physically based combat situations is a matter of skill.

Positioning and speed are vital, so make use of your exo-enhanced dodges, blocks, ducks and jumps to avoid attacks while managing stamina, ensuring you’re always in the right place to strike the limb you want, or to avoid a potentially damning blow. The rules of combat apply to both you, and your enemy: get hit in an unarmored limb, and you’ll go down faster. Take advantage of the enemy’s weaknesses while balancing your own, and you’ll walk away with his strengths.

But you’re not alone. Throughout your journey you’ll be assisted by your industrial drone, with abilities once used for CREO’s industrial needs now manipulated into a fighting machine. Shield yourself, or Burn, knock down, pull, and blast enemies at your will as you continue to fight in melee.

Prepare for The Surge May 16 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One and PC. Visit the official website for more info.

Ghost Recon Wildlands Narco Road DLC Launch Trailer

April 18, 2017 – Today, Ubisoft announced that Narco Road, the first expansion for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, is now available for season pass owners across all platforms. Season pass owners will have access to Narco Road one week before it releases for individual purchase on April 25 on consoles and PC for the suggested retail price of $14.99.

Narco Road trades in stealth and assault for subterfuge and tasks players with infiltrating three gangs of smugglers led by the elusive El Invisible. Players will have to go undercover and work their way up the ranks and earn the trust of the mysterious leader if they have any hope of bringing him to justice. Playable entirely in solo or co-op, players will have to earn the respect of gang leaders by completing brand new campaign missions and taking part in adrenaline-fueled racing challenges.

Leading up to the launch of Narco Road, a new title update is now available for all players that includes gameplay improvements and introduces weekly live season challenges in the form of solo, co-op and community tasks. Players who complete these challenges will be rewarded with up to three unique in-game rewards per week. Challenges will be available through multiple seasons, each of them lasting six weeks and featuring a specific theme. In the first season, The Rise and Fall of Unidad, players gather intel on Unidad’s operations and combat the threat to the country.

In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, players discover a fictionalized future Bolivia, a few years from now, in which players must take down the Santa Blanca drug cartel by any means necessary. Behind enemy lines, they hunt down targets and discover intel, using any of the more than 60 vehicles available, including cars, motorcycles and even helicopters that they can commandeer. To topple the cartel, players have to fight their way to El Sueño, Santa Blanca’s ruthless leader, by breaking down the Santa Blanca drug cartel’s operation piece by piece as they sever alliances between the drug lords and the corrupted government. A second expansion for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, Fallen Ghosts, will be available soon, as well as an all-new PvP mode in the coming months.

Star Wars Battlefront II Officially Announced

ORLANDO, Florida – April 15, 2017Today at Star Wars Celebration, Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA), and Lucasfilm Ltd. announced that Star Wars™ Battlefront II will release on November 17, 2017 worldwide. Building upon the foundation of groundbreaking visuals and authenticity of EA’s Star Wars Battlefront, DICE, Motive and Criterion are teaming up to deliver one of the most expansive Star Wars games to date. Star Wars Battlefront II will allow players to experience the untold story of an Imperial elite special forces soldier in an all-new single player campaign. In epic multiplayer battles, players will be able to pilot a First Order TIE fighter through intense dogfights in space, and play as ground troopers or iconic heroes and villains, such as Yoda and Darth Maul, across all three Star Wars eras.

“In Star Wars Battlefront II, we all wanted to really capture the essence of being heroic and how in Star Wars, anyone can become a hero,” says Matt Webster, Executive Producer at Criterion. “Whether that’s playing as an iconic character like Rey or Luke, as a front-line trooper or fighter pilot in epic multiplayer battles, or playing through a newStar Wars story that bridges the gap between Star Wars™: Return of the Jedi™ and Star Wars™: The Force Awakens™, you will become a hero in Star Wars Battlefront II.”

Featuring new characters created by Motive in close partnership with the story group at Lucasfilm, the Star WarsBattlefront II single player campaign will deliver a new exciting story to the Star Wars universe. Taking place in the 30 years between the destruction of Death Star II and through the rise of the First Order, the single player story introduces Iden Versio, the leader of Inferno Squad, an elite special forces unit of the Galactic Empire, who are equally lethal on the ground and in space. In addition to Iden, players will also encounter and play as other iconic Star Wars heroes and villains like Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren during the campaign.

“EA has assembled an incredible set of developers to create a Star Wars gaming experience unlike anything fans have ever experienced,” said Douglas Reilly, Senior Director, Digital & Franchise Management. “Star Wars Battlefront II will offer everything players loved about the last installment, and adds new modes that we know the fans want, including an entirely new story developed in partnership with Lucasfilm.”

“We wanted to create a campaign that told a story we haven’t seen before in Star Wars”, says Mark Thompson, Game Director at Motive Studios. “It was important for us to tell a new authentic story, one that gives players a brand-new perspective. By putting players in the boots of an elite member of the Imperial forces, we can show them what the battle was like from the other side.”

In addition to the all-new single player campaign, the team at DICE is evolving the game’s multiplayer to become the ultimate Star Wars battleground. With modes supporting up to 40 players, Star Wars Battlefront II takes fans through a wide range of iconic locations from all three eras: prequel, classic and new trilogy, including new in-game locations such as Yavin 4’s jungle canopies, the spaceport town of Mos Eisley, and Starkiller Base. Players can choose from an array of land and air vehicles and master their own hero’s journey, with customizable character progression across heroes, villains, troopers and starfighters.

As one of the most requested fan modes, galactic-scale space combat is also brought to life in Star Wars Battlefront II. Criterion, with a deep history of creating some of gaming’s fastest and intuitive vehicles, has built space combat from the ground up with refined handling, weapons, and customization options. Players can drop into the cockpit of the galaxy’s most iconic ships, weave between asteroid fields and fly through imperial dockyards in high stakes dogfights.

Fans who pre-order Star Wars Battlefront II can join the excitement of the theatrical release of Star Wars™: The Last Jedi™, with content inspired by the upcoming film including exclusive* Kylo Ren and Rey themed looks†. Players can also equip both characters with epic ability upgrades in multiplayer. Additionally, when taking the fight to space, players can upgrade to the Star Wars: The Last Jedi Millennium Falcon and a new First Order ship.

Players that order the Star Wars Battlefront II: Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition will not only have access to all the Star Wars: The Last Jedi inspired pre-order content, found in Star Wars Battlefront II: The Last Jedi Heroes, but can also dominate the battlefront as the ultimate Star Wars elite trooper. Every trooper class will receive upgrades, delivering superior firepower, deadly weapon modifications and epic combat abilities. Deluxe Edition owners will also get a head start on the battlefront, being able to jump into the game up to three days early†.

Star Wars Battlefront II will be available worldwide on November 17th, 2017 on PlayStation®4, Xbox One™, and on Origin for PC. Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Dangerous Trailer

WARSAW, Poland (April 13, 2017) — CI Games, the team behind the Sniper Ghost Warrior and Lords of the Fallen series of games, is ready to show just how deadly one can be in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. Strap on your seat buckles, because you’re going for a ride.

Accompanied by a hard-hitting musical track, this trailer sets the stage for many of the ways Jon North is wickedly effective at taking out the enemy in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. Sniping isn’t the only way he can take out enemies, there are also stabbings, explosions (with red barrels nonetheless), knees to the face, and vehicular manslaughter. But, really, it’s the armor-piercing bullets that leave a mark on the head of a bad guy. A big, red mark. You’ve been warned.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 tells the story of brotherhood, faith and betrayal in the most complete sniper experience ever. Take the role of an American sniper named Jonathan North, who is dropped into enemy territory in northern Georgia, nearby Russian borders. Explore large open-world maps with dynamic weather and a day and night cycle that actually impacts play and decisions. Customize weapon equipment, accessories, vehicles and a drone, and utilize the three pillars of gameplay to your liking: Sniper, Ghost and Warrior.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 launches on the PlayStation®4 system, Xbox One and Windows PC on April 25, 2017.
