Metro Exodus Leaves Steam for Epic Games Store

Larkspur, Calif. – Jan. 28, 2019 – Epic Games and Deep Silver today announced a partnership that will see the digitally-distributed PC version of the highly anticipated Metro Exodus release on February 15th 2019 solely through the Epic Games store.

Players worldwide can now pre-purchase both Standard and Gold Editions at EpicGames.com, from $49.99 in North America and €59.99 in most European countries*. All pre-orders include the Metro Exodus Original Soundtrack and ‘The World of Metro’ Digital Art Book.

World of Tanks: Mercenaries Core Breach Mode

Chicago, Illinois (January 25, 2019) — World of Tanks: Mercenaries is renowned for throwing players into epic battles waged between huge metal war machines. With a new limited-time mode, Core Breach, launching on PS4 and Xbox at the end of January, that hot metal action is about to get cranked up all the way to 11 as huge mechs will be taking to the battlefield! 2019 also marks the launch of the Winter Games, a new event that gives players the opportunity to earn monthly rewards and Premium gift tanks!

From January 29 through February 4, the new Core Breach mode will bring explosive mech battles to World of Tanks: Mercenaries! Popularized by Hollywood blockbusters and various beloved anime series, mechs are metal monsters piloted by humans in explosive battles. In Core Breach, players will be able to swap their trusty tanks for these titanium titans and duke it out in epic 4 v 4 death matches!

Beginning January 29, pilots can start clobbering their way to victory in one of two mechs: the gigantic US Iron Soldier, or the sleek and deadly USSR Steel Comrade. Each mech is equipped with lasers, missiles, machine guns, and a whole lot of health. Shoot and crush your way through the snow-covered Old River City map and its plethora of destructible environments, then decimate all opposing mechs to reign supreme. Be careful out there, Pilot, as destroyed mechs will experience a core breach explosion capable of leveling city blocks and your mech as well. The action doesn’t stop if you get knocked down – just eject, respawn, and get right back at it again!

While mechs may be a surprising addition to World of Tanks: Mercenaries, this mode marks a return to the roots of Wargaming Chicago-Baltimore (formerly known as Day 1 Studios), with some of the key talents behind Microsoft’s machine-mashing MechAssault series working to bring Core Breach to life. This special event is the latest in a series of crazy fan-favorite modes that flip World of Tanks: Mercenaries’ core gameplay on its head, with previous events featuring sea-faring battles, tank warfare on Mars, and even an alien invasion of Earth!

Elsewhere in the World of Tanks, the Winter Games have begun! This new event encourages players to fight to earn daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual rewards by earning points through in-game Ops. Winter Games Bravo, the second phase of this event, starts on February 1. Players who complete it can look forward to a hefty discount on a new Premium tank, the electrifying Thunderbolt!

This month also sees the launch of some new tanking heroes to give a boost to your armory! This retelling of the survival horror masterpiece was built from top to bottom using Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine, delivering breathtakingly realistic visuals, chilling sound design, an over-the-shoulder perspective, and modernized controls. This 2019 release offers a deeply immersive and terrifying account of the Raccoon City outbreak through the eyes of two of the franchise’s most beloved characters. Resident Evil 2 is available in both physical and digital formats for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One family of devices, and Steam.

Originally released in 1998 on the PlayStation® console, Resident Evil 2 is one of the most revered entries in the Resident Evil series, which has amassed nearly 85 million units sold worldwide to date. The original game embodied the grisly action, suspenseful exploration and puzzle-solving gameplay that set a standard for survival horror games. In Resident Evil 2, players join rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield as they travel to Raccoon City to investigate the mysterious events taking place, only to find themselves trapped in a zombie nightmare from which they must escape. Their collective experiences piece together a comprehensive story revealing the reprehensible actions of Umbrella Corporation, which has thrown Raccoon City into a chaos of zombies and horrifically mutated monsters.

Once players complete Leon and Claire’s campaigns, they can unlock additional game modes offering a whole new perspective of the events unraveling in Raccoon City through the eyes of an Umbrella Corporation operative HUNK and a piece of tofu with a knife, in 4th Survivor and Tofu Survivor modes, respectively. If players choose to restart their adventures as Leon and/or Claire from the beginning of the game, they will be rewarded with the option to tackle a more challenging version of the main campaign with deeper story elements and content. For added variety, additional costumes for Leon and Claire can also be unlocked or purchased.

In addition to the standard edition of Resident Evil 2, the Deluxe Edition includes the full game plus the downloadable Extra DLC pack, which includes five character costumes (two for Leon and three for Claire), the Albert Model: Samurai Edge weapon, and the retro soundtrack that can be enabled during gameplay. Physical copies of the Deluxe Edition will also include a reversible box cover featuring Claire.

Developed by Rival Games and Theory Interactive, Alien: Blackout takes place between the events of Alien and Aliens and promises fans a frightening new interactive experience, forcing them to balance their safety with that of their crew in an attempt to outsmart the extraterrestrial hunter.
